Premium Hollow Fly

A modern spoof on Bob Popovics Hollow Fleye design, this version I tie features a built UV resin head with holographic eyes, keel weight to ensure these flies ride true even in the heaviest current, countershaded color schemes blended with angel hair flash and finished with an ample amount of peacock herl, plus a defined tailing section made with select saddle hackle feathers and flashabou. This is the style of hollow fly I always keep in my box for striped bass, it is my go to that I have complete confidence in. These flies are about 10" long and are tied on 6/0 Ahrex SA270 Bluewater hooks and are capable of landing the biggest fish out there.
