About Me

The story started in high school with a 2005 Ford Ranger and a license plate that read FSH•BIG. My first vehicle that racked up 450,000 miles and would take me to places that at the time I could not begin to comprehend. Though I haven’t always focused my career around fishing, looking back my life has always revolved around fishing. In high school I worked at the local tackle shop packing mackerel, stocking shelves and tying clousers. My college days were spent in Boston earning a BFA at Massachusetts College of Art + Design but I can tell you that you were more likely to find me behind the museum of fine arts catching carp and largemouth bass than inside the museum studying its contents. Fast track to today and a couple trucks later that license plate has become much more to me. Fish big doesn’t necessarily always represent throwing the biggest flies for the biggest fish, but the mentality of going further, wading deeper, trying something different to see what is possible. I hope my flies can help bring you to your next memorable big fishing moment.
